Simply Knot Ocean Version

Simply Knot combines the body, sound and image in exploring how queer identity is subject to social constraints and constructedness. Two figures interact, dance, move, collaborate, oppose, negate, bind and succumb to what is in between; the tie that binds, the rope that constrains, and the connection that defines orientation. While the two performers negotiate space and are infinitely tethered to each other through different landscapes (urban and natural) the conventions of performance and video art figure explicitly as the relationships play out.
